SunFloc questions, answered
Who makes SunFloc?
SunFloc polyelectrolytes are manufactured by Suraj Chemicals, Chennai. SunFloc is part of our own Sun Brand range of water-treatment chemicals.
What is the difference between the HQ and MQ grades?
HQ grades are specified in more detail — total solids, residual acrylamide, insolubles, molecular weight, charge density, particle size, solution viscosity and recommended working concentration — while MQ grades are specified on bulk density, pH and maximum use concentration. Both anionic and cationic types are available in each. Tell us your application and we will help you choose, and a jar test on your own water or slurry confirms grade and dose.
What is the shelf life of SunFloc?
24 months for all four grades, stored sealed at 0–35 °C away from moisture and direct sunlight in the original unopened pack.
What is SunFloc used for?
As a flocculant in mineral processing, municipal and industrial water treatment, paper and textile applications.
Can I download the specification sheet and MSDS?
Yes. Each SunFloc grade has its own specification sheet and MSDS to download from its product page or from this page.
What pack sizes are available?
Packing is as per order. Please contact us for pack sizes and bulk quantities.
