Water treatment dosing & cost calculators
Work out how much coagulant, polyelectrolyte or chlorine your plant needs per day, how to make up the solution, and what it costs per litre of water treated. Free to use, no sign-up.
1. Chemical dosing calculator
Based on your flow and how dirty the water is. Gives the chemical needed per day and the dosing-pump setting.
2. Dilution & solution make-up calculator
How much powder to put in your tank, or how to dilute a strong liquid down to working strength.
3. Treatment cost per litre
Compare chemicals and grades by what they cost per litre of water treated, not by price per kg.
How to use these numbers
The dose ranges are typical starting points from water and effluent treatment practice. Every water is different, so the right dose comes from a jar test on your own sample. Send us a one-litre sample and we will run a jar test and suggest the grade and dose, free of charge.
Useful conversions: 1 mg/L = 1 ppm = 1 g per mÂł. 1 KLD = 1 mÂł per day = 1,000 litres per day. A 0.1% solution holds 1 g of product per litre.
